Welcome in the village of Vítkovice in Krkonoše where the Accommodation in privacy is to be found (Accommodation in privacy Krkonoše). A stylish semi-detached cottage is located in wilderness by a forrest with the view of Zlaté Návrší (Golden Hills), Dvořačky and Kotel (Mountain Cottage by forrest Krkonoše). The accommodation is built on a place of an original cottage which burned down at the beginning of the century. There in this place a new object was established and built in the style of cottages of Krkonoše. A part of this object now serves as a place for rent. The cottage is an ideal place for hiking (Hiking with accommodation Krkonoše) and cyclotourism (Cyclotourism with accommodation Krknoše) – Active holidays Vítkovice in Krkonoše. A Ski areal is available there in winter with four ski tows and a few other pistes in its surrounding. The ski areal offers skiing for children, beginners as well as for advanced skiers in Krkonoše (Holidays for skiers Krkonoše and their surrounding). Cross-country skiers would appreciate cross-country routes which are nicely adapted (Accommodation for cross-country skiers Krkonoše and their surrounding).
The bed capacity of the object is 17. The recommended number of people is 13 in 3 bedrooms and 2 studios above the bedrooms with a common sanitary facility, an entrance hall usable as a lounge when the capacity of people is full, with TV and seating. A large lounge is also there in the ground floor with seating and an equipped kitchen, a dishwasher, a cooker – 2 beds are possible and an adaptable sofa. The bedrooms on the first floor are as follows: 3+0, 3+2, 3+2+kk („kk“ means „kitchen corner“ – used in the Czech language) – there in one of the rooms is a fully equipped kitchen corner with an electric cooker. There is a garden pool by the cottage with the possibility of an electric heating which is for fee (Holidays with pool Krkonoše and their surrounding).
Guests can borrow garden games, bowling or a special Russian bowl, classical bowling or pétanque. A public car park is located there by a main street, about 1 km far from the cottage. To reach the cottage in winter, snow chains are necessary. The mountain cottage is suitable for accommodation of groups, individuals, families, accommodation for bikers, hikers, families with small children, children. corporate accommodation and teambuildings in Krkonoše.
The zoo in Liberec is the oldest zoo in the former area of Czechoslovakia. It was founded in 1919 and presently it can be proud cca 170 animal species of the total number of nearly 1.000 specimen. Except for the wide exposition in particular specific pavilions (the pavilions of giraffes, elephants, beasts, monkeys or trops) we ensure tutorials for schools, and you can also find here the wide offer of ecological educational programms. In the lower part of the zoo you can get on a small train, the favourite department is also the contact zoo where the visitors can even pet or feed some animals.
